Food is medicine. The food you put into your body will directly impact how you feel and your overall health. Food can fuel us, heal us, and prevent disease.

Holistic Nutrition looks at the whole individual; physical, mental, emotional, and environmental.  We evaluate the patient’s complete health history, emotional state, lifestyle habits and diet to determine the root cause of his or her health issues.

Holistic nutrition can help with all health concerns including digestion, stress, anxiety, hormonal issues, arthritis, acne, eczema, high blood sugar, weight-loss, and more.

If you have not yet had the pleasure of an appointment at Clear Medicine (in person or virtually),  an introductory Holistic Nutritionist session ($30), can be booked online with our online booking site.

To make this session the of most value to you, we have complied a list of common points of discussion we often suggest tackling in this 15-minute session and we also encourage you to compile a few of your own too. You may discover things like:

  1. Is a whey-based or a vegan- based (like pea, rice or fermented, organic, non-GMO soy protein) protein supplement best for me? What are the differences and benefits of each?
  2. How many grams of protein do I need to prevent sarcopenia one of the largest risks for aging?
  3. Should I take a plant-based or marine-based essential fatty acid?
  4. Am I hitting my daily fiber intake goals and do I need a supplement? Why is soluble fiber so important for my blood sugar balance, cholesterol and improving gut health?
  5. What’s the difference between a meal replacement and a protein powder? How can use each to help with my energy, strength and performance?
  6. What is the best breakfast for me? For instance, should it include fruit, starchy carbs, be a shake or solid food based?
  7. How do I combat hunger soon after eating?
  8. How can I support my workouts – how much protein do I need for bone health and aging?

You may also want to consider booking more time to obtain more comprehensive plans like:

30-minutes ($60) that will allow for:

  • A 2-week Detox program based on The Hormone Diet and The Supercharged Hormone Diet

45-minutes ($90) that will provide for:

 Meet & Meal plan 

45-minute meeting – get to know more about you, your current health, eating habits and any challenges you are facing. We will also discuss the goals they have and then put together a one-week meal plan that best suits your needs -it will include a grocery list, meal prep guide, and recipes for all meals and snacks.

Four Week Nutrition Coaching

This four-week program includes one 30-minute appointment (phone call), and three 15-minute appointments. The program includes diet, detox, hormone and weight loss information.

Other nutrition packages are available as well. We have 15-60-minute sessions, 4 and 5-week programs.
