Who may benefit?
Our 5-week program, based on the process outlined in the #1 seller The Hormone Diet and The New York Times bestselling book, The Supercharged Hormone Diet, could be of assistance to you if you are currently experiencing:
How does it work?
We begin the process of working to improve your health and hormonal balance by focusing on taking steps to address the five most common hormonal imbalances:
Why these five imbalances?
Chronic inflammation has to been linked digestive disorders, allergies, autoimmune disease, arthritis, asthma, eczema, acne, abdominal fat, headaches, depression, sinus disorders and more. Toxic estrogen either from the environment or internally produced by our body has been linked to an increased risk of certain types of cancers and obesity in both men and women. Insulin plays an essential role in healthy body function, however, an excess of it can increase the risk of gaining body fat, increased hunger and experiencing cravings. Too much insulin not only tends to encourage your body to store unused glucose as fat, but it can also block the use of stored fat as an energy source. For these reasons, an abnormally high insulin level makes losing fat, especially around the abdomen, very challenging, let alone can increases the risk of diabetes, heart disease, Alzheimer’s disease, osteoporosis, stroke and fatty liver disease. Just as destructive as an excess of insulin can be, an imbalance of cortisol can become extremely harmful to your metabolism, body composition and wellness. It disrupts sleep (typically with trouble falling asleep or waking between 2 to 4 am), suppresses the thyroid and has been found to contribute to belly fat, even in those that are otherwise thin. Lastly, an imbalance of any one of these can impact thyroid hormone activity – the master of your metabolic rate.
